In this article I’d like to talk about 3 easy ways you can learn to deepen your meditation practice. As someone who has meditated personally for years, I can speak first hand about some of the problems and obstacles that many of us face when trying to enter blissful states of inner consciousness and transformation. If you are anything like me, you probably LOVE the great feelings you get from deep meditation, but DON’T love all of the effort you need to employ to get there. The Big Mind Technique:
I personally love this technique and it involves using the “ego” constructively during meditation. Rather than transcending the ego, it incorporates identification with different aspects of yourself while working to transcend them! For example, you may identify with the “victim” part of your personality while meditating, feel the emotions of feeling victimized, and ultimately, the goal is to DISIDENTIFY with that archetype or facet of self. Very powerful indeed!
The Eyes in the Back of the Head Technique:
This is taught by many Rabbi’s who practiced Kaballah meditation many years ago. ( before it became “hip”) Essentially, you concentrate on a spot at the back of your head – a spot you cant’ see obviously, and eventually….the blackness or “emptiness” of the spot becomes so powerful that an altered state ensues.
Bi Nural Beats and Meditative Music
The easiest and most EFFORTLESS way to embrace the mystery in a hurry! Simply stated, entering into deep states of formless awareness is relatively easy with headphones, and bi nural beat technology, which synchronizes your brain waves in powerful ways that have to experienced to believe. Very powerful stuff, and a ton of fun to boot – my FAVORITE way of meditating these days for sure.
